Born and raised in Los Angeles California, Alex grew up immersed and engaged in the Surf and Skate Culture of Southern California. It is here where Alex gained his sense of adventure. Since graduating with honors from Art Center College of Design, Alex has spent the last ten years combining his experiences making images that exemplify the adventurous, warm and energetic Southern California lifestyle.Today he shoots advertising for such clients as Nike, Apple, Mercedes Benz, Levis, Vans, Verizon, Target, and Smirnoff, as well as projects for such publications as Vogue, Runners World, Women’s Health, i-D, and Dazed. When not taking pictures Alex can be found climbing and backpacking in the Sierras, surfing, or road biking around Santa Monica mountains, where he currently resides.
