Everett Fitch

Photographer

Salt Lake City, Utah, United States
Everett Fitch is a self-taught filmmaker and photographer raised in Salt Lake City. He picked up his first camera in his mid-20s and has had his eye through a viewfinder ever since. Soon after he began making music videos for prominent indie bands, but his hunger for storytelling eventually transformed his filmmaking and photography into a full-time passion and lifelong pursuit. His punk upbringing paired with his mind-bending/heart-opening travel experiences throughout South America have helped shape his identity — giving him respectful insight into contrasting cultures and unconventional ideas, ultimately guiding how he approaches storytelling. With a diverse background in advertising, filmmaking and photography his goal is to find and create connection both behind the lens and throughout the human landscape. He’s directed strategic, story-driven video and photo work for national brands, documentaries and commercials in the outdoor, fashion, sports, non-profit, healthcare and wellness industries, as well as directed and produced music videos for large bands and record labels. In his free time you’ll find him traveling around with his camera, taking in the latest films and going on runs and hikes with his loyal hound dog, Ghost — always finding inspiration for his visual craft all the while.
